The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Elections of the President of Ukraine" (re Organization of Work of Election Commissions) as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No. 6004) excludes Part 4 of Clause 28 (sitting of the election commission is plenipotentiary, provided at least two thirds of its composition participate in it) from the Law "On Elections of the President of Ukraine".

The Bill also supplements Clause 85 with a new paragraph to regulate the formation of the election commissions, if the candidates for presidency fail to nominate the candidates for these commissions.
